Deneika Allen – Ms Pepsi’s Granddaughter

Good day everyone. My name is Miss Pepsi. Remembering Aunty Jenny. Aunty Jenny was introduced to me by her cousin Aunty Titta in the year 2000 to do some dress-making for her. From the year 2000 coming down she was drawn to my Family because of the way my Children and grandchildren lived, and in no time became a Family friend. Over the year Aunty Jenny would travel all the way from St.Mary to our home in Old Harbour St.Catherine to get her work clothes sewn. She use to visit us often, like every 3 months or so, whenever she came to visit her daughter Stacy in Kingston, She’d always come for a visit at our home. She used to talk about her Girls a lot, She Loved them dearly. Aunty Jenny used to Love engaging in conversations with anyone she came in contact with….she enjoyed engaging in deep meaningful conversations any chance she gets. She even met one of her students here that she taught in St. Mary…it was a joy when she saw her ( smiles). She used to love to come to denbeigh with us over the years, We used to sell cooked food and baked goods and a lot more there… [no bother think you could fall asleep when Aunty Jenny was there, no way] . She loved our baked products and blended juices as well as our cooked food, She was always welcomed at our home, there was always a Joy and laughter when she was there. Aunty Jenny used to tell us that “our home is a home within a home” . The last time she visited us was about early 2019. I could go on and on but have to cut it short. We used to love sit and listen to her as we all shared jokes, ideas and family time together. She loved her family. she will be missed by all of us. May her soul rest in peace.
